Clash of the Titans

Version US de la date parisienne que j’ai vu qq mois plus tôt…
Je me retrouve dans les bas-fonds de SF, au bien nommé Cow Palace, où 10 000 bœufs ont pris place pour un grand barbecue métale !
J’arrive pile pour le dernier accord de Alice in Chains, bon…Anthrax et son excellent guitariste Scott Ian (dont le side project HC S.O.D était excellent !) foutent le feu, surtout avec leur tube rap-metal « Bring the noise » et leur reprise de Joe Jackson.
Megadeth suit…..toujours aussi à chier, pauvre hard rock moule-burnes à 2 balles !
Enfin, SLAYER !C’est évidemment pour eux que je suis là, toujours aussi mortels sur scène, le SEUL groupe de metal qui compte !Et là,c’est l’émeute dans la salle, les metal kids amerloques sont vraiment violents et barrés, ça slamme plus, ça y va à grand coups de rangers dans la tête, de la scène à la régie-son situé au bout de la salle !
Mon but du soir : trouver une lueur d’intelligence dans un regard, je cherche encore !
Mais putain, SLAYER !!

Lost in the dirty side of SF, at the well-named Cow Palace, where a cattle of 10 000 metalheads are taking place for a pagan night !
Just in time for Alice in Chains last chord, well…Anthrax & the mighty Scott Ian (Which HC side-project S.O.D was awesome !) set the house on fire, especially w/ their “Bring the noise” metal/rap hit & their Joe Jackson cover.
Megadeth is next….they suck big time once again, cheap,no-balls hard-rock !
Finally, SLAYER ! I’m here for them,of course, always such a killer band onstage, the only metal band that matters !It turns into a huge riot in the Palace, no more slam, but kick-in-the-face-w/army-boots pogo from the stage to the soundboard, US metal kids are violent & crazy!
My goal is to find a smart look on someone’s face, I’m still looking !
But fuck, SLAYER !
